Financial Analyst


Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for providing financial support and analysis to the managers of a Service /department, enabling Budget Holders to proactively, effectively and efficiently administer their financial budget / latest view.
  • Responsible for developing, maintaining and ensuring reporting and controls within business units. 
  • Act as a conduit between operational departments and Finance departement. Liaise closely with operational Managers and National Account Analysts to ensure a strong, cohesive and value-adding financial support function within the Decision Support team.
  • Participate in developing the affiliate strategy through the financial planning and budgeting documents submitted to the General Management.

Business Development and Audit Manager


Key responsibilities

The position’s main areas of responsibility are

  • The identification of potential acquisition targets and involvement in all stages of the transaction through to completion, especially: due diligence review of the target’s accounts, audits of production facilities and distribution capabilities, financial evaluation and development of business plans.
  • Financial audits for acquisitions or disposals.
  • Ad-hoc audits of subsidiaries, including the purchasing, logistics, treasury, inventory, IT and cost accounting functions in the Group’s main companies internationally.
     
    The review and updating of internal controls to keep pace with regulatory requirements (including compliance with French financial law).
     
    Assistance, as required, with the year-end closure of accounts and fulfilment of the corporate head office’s statutory, fiscal and management accounting requirements (compilation for the annual report and input into the half-yearly and annual consolidations).
  • The compilation and presentation of specific reports for the benefit of the CEO and Audit Committee.

Your profile
  • Education 
    Finance degree with CPA or MBA preferred
  • Background 
    3-5 years of audit experience preferably in consumer products.
  • Required Competencies 
    - Strong analytical skills with understanding of and experience with advanced audit techniques.
    -  High level of competency in business controls.
    -  Individual can quickly develop relationships within the organization and can quickly grasp issues.
    -  Must have strong skills in obtaining support and commitment from business groups.
    -  Must be able to conduct self in a discreet manner as will be handling at times confidential information.
